Indications and Treatments

Because of the way it operates, Insulin Potentiation Therapy can be applied to many diseases. Although today it is mainly used as a gentle and virtually side-effect free form of methodology in the treatment of cancer, its areas of application are far greater.

The subsequent list will give you a general overview of the indications that have been treated so far with IPT, as a central or additive treatment method. We do not intend to give any form of healing promise, but merely want to transparently present the possible treatment spectrum of IPT.

Cancers

What is cancer? Cancer is a form of malignant abnormal cell growth and is one of the greatest medical challenges of our time. The causes can be multifaceted and very complex, such as excessive tobacco consumption, nutritional deficiencies, environmental toxins, radio wave radiation, infections and psychosomatic factors caused by stress, unresolved conflicts, and grief. Everyone talks about the immune system in this context, but only a few make the underlying connections transparent. Your immune system is a complex system of cells and biological responses that the body uses to continually detect and ward off invaders as well as protect its own cells to prevent cell deterioration and mutation.

The immune system is responsible for the recognition of foreign proteins and to coordinate the cells that subsequently fight against them. As a result, the immune system performs cursory checks on all of your cells to see if they are falling through the grid of healthy-cell norms. When cells fall through this grid, they are immediately attacked and an inflammatory reaction occurs.

By now, most reputable researchers, including Nobel laureate Sir MacFarlane Burnet, believe that an average healthy body is confronted with hundreds of potential cancer cells on a daily basis. However, these defective, mutated cells are usually destroyed by a defensive immune system and cause no problems. Cancer only develops if an immune system failure allows abnormal cells to slip past the defense. Other cancer cells, in turn, do not trigger an immune response because their DNA is only minimally different from normal cells. Then they begin to multiply without the ability to specialize. Dedifferentiation, that's what cancer is. Dedifferentiation describes the biological process in which cells lose their cell-type specific properties. It leads to a (partial) reversal of the cell differentiation that occurred during embryogenesis.

The Holistic Cancer Treatment Concept

This process plays a major role, especially in the formation of tumors. Under this context, a tumor is also called a renegade tissue. Differentiated cells have a low, if any, rate of cell division, while dedifferentiated tumor cells have an increased cell division level, which, in turn, often results in rapid-growth of these tumor tissues. In that sense, a tumor is a symptom and not a problem. It is a symptom of immune system failure.

Based on this insight, Martin Lee developed the ”Holistic Cancer Treatment Concept“, a unique holistic oncological treatment concept that focuses on restoring immune system functionality. After a well-founded diagnostics and root cause analysis, with the help of IPT, the dedifferentiated cells are attacked in a gentle, yet highly targeted manner. Initially, IPT acts swiftly like a fire brigade; the goal is to stop malignant cell growth as quickly as possible. As with all other indications mentioned in the context of IPT, the therapy, embedded in a complementary medical treatment framework, is able to gently develop it full potency as effectively as possible, while simultaneously targeting an increase in the body's vitality and defensive forces.

Martin Lee’s ”Holistic Cancer Treatment Concept“ is based on 7 Pillars:

• Diagnostics
• Combat/IPT
• The 3 Ds: Diet, Detoxification, Deacidification
• Strengthening the immune system and revitalizing the organism
• Clarification of psychosomatic factors
• Monitoring of therapy success
• Adaptation of a healthy lifestyle/lifestyle coaching and resetting

Lyme Disease treatment in Bonn

Lyme disease was first described in 1975 in the US state of Connecticut after an increase in occurrence of joint inflammations, although it is, to this day, still difficult to diagnose and treat. Thus, it often happens that Lyme disease is only recognized as such years after the infection by a tick, after numerous other diagnoses have been made, and valuable time for an effective therapy has elapsed.

In Germany there is a clear north-south divide with regard to the risk of infection or transmission of the strains Borrelia burgdorferi, Borrelia sensu strictu, Borrelia garnii, Borrelia afzelii and Borellia spielmanii transmitted by the castor bean tick. In northern Germany, for example, only 6% to 10% of ticks are infected with Borrelia, while in the south the rates are as high as 50%. However, many tick bites and thus possible infections often go unnoticed and the early symptoms of the disease are not linked to the tick bites.

In a chronic course of Lyme disease, the bacteria often tend to hide on the inside of cells, so that a conventional antibiotic treatment hardly strikes. Therefore, in the case that a bacterial infection does not heal with the help of the immune system alone, the utilization of IPT is indicated as well, in particular in the case of Lyme disease. IPT opens the cells so that antibiotics can reach the bacteria hidden there as well.

IPT is an integral part of the holistic treatment approach developed by Martin Lee. Specifically for the treatment of Lyme disease, it is called the ”Holistic Borreliosis Treatment Concept“. This innovative holistic treatment approach aims not only at combating the bacteria, but at the same time, strengthening the immune system and boosting physical and mental-spiritual vitality.

Rheumatic Spectrum

In the natural healing practice of Martin Lee rheumatic diseases are regarded holistically. After an in-depth anamnesis and diagnosis, IPT is a key part in the treatment and always embedded in a complementary medical treatment concept that focuses equally on the body, mind and soul of the patient. Over 400 indications are summarized under the collective term ”Rheumatic Spectrum“. The numerous forms of illness are divided into four major groups base their root cause:

Degenerative rheumatic diseases, e.g. arthrosis. Here attrition leads to signs of wear and tear on the joints.

• Rheumatoid forms such as e.g. rheumatic fever or chronic arthritis. Both are autoimmune diseases which result in an inflammation of the joints and subsequently in pain, swelling and stiffness.

• Metabolic disorders accompanied by rheumatic conditions, for example gout.

• Soft tissue rheumatism in which muscles, ligaments, tendons and bursae are painfully altered, e.g. Fibromyalgia.

Autoimmune Diseases

An immune deficiency is characterized by a reduced responsiveness of the immune system. An autoimmune disease targets a counterproductive direction of the immune system: the body is sensitized and directed against the body’s own antigenic substances, i.e. against itself. The causes are barely known. The conventional medical diagnosis is provided by the detection of auto-antibodies, however, a targeted therapy in the context of conventional medicine has not been developed to this date.

An autoimmune reaction can damage organs or the entire organism. A few examples of autoimmune diseases are:

• Hashimoto (thyroid disease)
• Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
• Ulcerative Colitis
• Multiple Sclerosis

Analogous to its function and mode of action, IPT consequently, can be used causally in the aforementioned diseases. However, since each disease is accompanied by individual history and occupied by specific parameters, an individual diagnosis is necessary. This should only be carried out by specially-trained doctors. The treatment of autoimmune diseases requires careful anamnesis and diagnostics. IPT treatment may be sensible and thereby indicated by a trained physician.

In the naturopathic practice of Martin Lee, IPT is only implemented after a personal, detailed consultation and, in the context of an autoimmune diseases, always embedded in a complementary medical treatment concept, where the whole being is the focus of all therapeutic efforts.
